Tutorial Services
The Student-Athlete Services department provides tutorial services given by qualified tutors. If a student-athlete would like to meet with a tutor, please call or stop by the Ricchiuti Academic Center to set up an appointment with a tutor.
Student-Athlete Services Academic Staff
Program staff includes a Director, Assistant Director, professional academic advisors, clerical support personnel, tutors in a variety of subject areas, and graduate interns. Each staff member is trained to deal with the special needs of student athletes. Administrative staff and academic advisors help athletes meet Fresno State academic requirements as well as eligibility rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Student Tutors
The Student-Athlete Services office is always accepting applications for tutors in all areas of General Education and various majors. Interviews may be granted to qualified applicants when openings are available. All applications will be kept on file, and applicants may be called for an interview at a later date or when openings come available. To apply, print the attached application and return it to the attention of Kelly Paramo at Fresno State Student-Athlete Services by mail or fax.

Who We Serve
All prospective, current and former student athletes are eligible for services. There are approximately 550 athletes currently participating in 18 varsity sports programs. Each of these students is assigned an academic advisor who works with that student throughout his or her collegiate career.
